I thought this site was kind of neat and we can even play along and learn at the same time. Not to many things we do in life can have that said about them.

I don't tend to speak out too much defending what can be seemingly-safely labelled as propaganda news sites. But this case is different. Like it or not, news comes from all types of places and sources. The internet has opened up the portals of the world of news. We no longer have to wait and rely and trust the likes of Dan Rather and Tom Brokaw for what's going on in the world. We can look all over for what we wish to identify as truth. And many of us do. Al-Jazeera was targeted by the US ...

I've been spending a lot of time with the family these days. Maybe it's because I feel guilty about being at some many Leafs' parties during the current playoffs. But what I need to do is remember not to take my family for granted, as I fall prey to that human failing quite a bit I must confess. It's not that I don't want to be around them, it's more because with my friends I can yell when someone scores. All the guys go nuts loudly, and my wife and family don't understand that. So I made a ...

Here's the compilation of photos the Bush Admin. doesn't want you to see. When I see the photo of a coffin, I think of their family. Many don't want us to see these photos, especially during an election period. Look at these photos and remember they're families and the fact they're loved ones will never be coming home. Why these photos are a shame I don't understand, election or not. If you have the so-called balls to go to war, have the respect for the dead men and women and let the country ...

Imagine them going door to door like the Jehovah's eh? Imagine the support they would garnish if they canvassed around the universities and the local schoolgrounds! You'd think it would be really easy to get members to join up, of course with the promise of a free beer. But it must be real! They even have t-shirts! anyone want to join with me?

I thought this site would be kind of neat. My name never came up at all, as I guess there weren't lots of Miki's in America during these years. Check out your name distribution by state. Want to know how many Jones' there were in the US in 1850? Find out here.

Believe it or not, I go to church with my family every single weekend. We're a bit involved with the children's liturgy part of it, so to me it makes the time more tolerable. But one thing I have noticed since the start of the Iraq War and that's how no priest save one has ever even mentioned the war and the innocent victims. Is this because it's controversial or something? The one priest who mentioned it, I went up to him after and thanked him for mentioning the war, and he wasn't surprised....

Listen to your children and you will be educated beyond your own knowledge level. Children are unique in this world as they have the innocence Jesus was speaking of when he said to get into heaven one has to be like a child. Their seeming lack of knowledge is the catalyst that makes their vision so unique. I like to say that I teach my children what is right, what is wrong, and especially what is all around truth. I don't like to be wishy washy when it comes to my children's education. I don'...

The US is leading the charge against Spain and saying their actions are a victory for the terrorists. But of course that is the ignorant way of looking at it. Let's think. What's democracy? It's being able to vote for representatives who will represent them. One-person-one-vote. We know this. So when 90% of Spain was telling their politicians: "Don't send the men to Iraq without the UN, don't send them to war or false pretenses" and their politicians sent them anyways to suck up the US, that'...

Here's the anti american cleric guy who's a supposed leader of a religious group. He makes statements at news conferences and has a lot of things to say about the bad US and such. What I just noticed is the fact that HE IS ALWAYS READING FROM A PIECE OF PAPER. Even the ignorant 10th grade level Bush, when talking to reporters and the like, doesn't read anything from a piece of paper telling people that the terrorists are the bad guys and they will be crushed and ousted (the exact flipside to ...

During a time of war we always hear nothing but bullshit when it comes to what is 'official' news and what is not 'official' news. News blackouts and lies and innuendoes take on the public and it wins hands down every time. Sure the news stations will provide 'experts' and former 'experts' to bring us the nitty gritty on what's going on. Not many people realize they are there solely for public relations and are really telling us absolutely nothing, and that's evident from the rosy outlooks th...
