Humor at its sickest
Listen to your children and you will be educated beyond your own knowledge level. Children are unique in this world as they have the innocence Jesus was speaking of when he said to get into heaven one has to be like a child. Their seeming lack of knowledge is the catalyst that makes their vision so unique. I like to say that I teach my children what is right, what is wrong, and especially what is all around truth. I don't like to be wishy washy when it comes to my children's education. I don't say things at the end of my sentences like "but...". What is right is what is right. Like the war going on. My kids don't like watching the news with that crap on, so I end up explaining to them what's really going on. On day 1 they thought the war was to go after some bad guys. I smiled at their innocence. So I felt compelled to explain to them that Iraq has lots and lots of gold-type stuff under their ground (younger children obviously) and the invading army (US) was going after the stuff to take control of it to their own liking. Someone I know thought that was wrong to say because it isn't true. That's fine. But I had to explain to this grown up of all people that Rumsfeld said at the start on day 1 of the invasion that the US was going in to "rid Iraq of its WMD and to secure it's oilfields...". So there's an example. My seven year old knows the reality better than this fiancial banking guy who supposedly keeps himself up to date on the current news of the day. I tell you it's a great feeling to be able to tell your kids what's really going on all the while 95% of the population all are suckered into believing a 3rd world nation like Iraq, decimated by sanctions, was a 'imminent threat' to the US. I laughed when my son asked why they were so scared wehn Iraq was so far away with nothing but water in between them. I hugged him and told him that even the US congressmen were suckered into believing Bush's topsecret meeting with them where he told them the US had evidence that Iraq was about to unleash a WMD spraying drone onto the US from Iraq, and was ready to wipe out some people on the coastlines of the US. He literally rolled his eyes! He knows now that when I told him all the silly evidence for war were lies, I was right. And I was a lone voice as some here could imagine. Most all people actually fell for that shit hook line and sinker like sheep, and it compelled me to teach my boys to trust in what's right and mostly to trust in reality, because that's where we have to live while we're here, and saying "BaaaBaaaa" all day is kind of useless I think. They are on the right track, they know things most of you all don't believe enough to care about. Like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. My son noticed that all the Palestinians looked so ragged and poor. And God bless him he made a comment about how the Israelis were so armied up and the others had no weapons in sight, just a bunch of people running around and the occasional stone toss. He was upset when he saw that a little Palestinian kid was shot when he was throwing stones at a tank. He asked why they had to shoot when the rock wasn't going to damage the tank at all. Like I said, their innocence is what we all should be taking a look at and wondering if maybe, just maybe, the children have the answers for our problems. You see, our problem is that we as adults tend to overlap our beliefs and rights and wrongs and that only serves to confuse a child who has learned the difference between what's right and wrong. A child isn't going to say "I HATE WMD! I HATE CHEMICAL WEAPONS! --->SHH! *but only if its others who use it on us*. Therefore there was confusion as to why the US would invade Iraq to get rid of those WMD when the US had given Iraq the WMD they are now seeking! A child isn't going to denounce nuclear activity in other countries of the world then the same day tell the people he's lost some radiated pencil-sized rods from some nuclear facility in the US. A child isn't going to say that blowing up a checkpoint is wrong and cruel and an act of terrorism, then blow up an apartment filled with families in order to kill one man in one room of that building said to be the perpetrator of that military checkpoint attack. Children's innocence: worth looking at.

So Iraq did have WMDs, which means that Bush wasn't lying at all, and those who were claiming he was lying were in fact lying.

to a point. The fact is that of course they had them because the US was moral enough to give them some as well as the means to deliver them unto the other human beings. But Iraq said long ago that they had gotten rid of them. People cry for the evidence. Well, people in Afghanistan cried for the evidence that Bin Laden was behind 911. A simple request. The US refused, as still hasn't released what this 'evidence' was. A video found much later? No.
